1. Excel output opens and disappears after the window appears.
Go to the IE7> Tools>internet options>
Security>Trusted Sites>
Sites>
uncheck the 'Required server verification (https:) for all sites in the zone.
And add the url of the apps.

2. To open the Excel file without prompt
Go to
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Excel\Security
On the right side, right click New> DWORD>
Give Name as "ExtensionHardening" (without quotes)
and give value as 0
If solution 1 doesnt work, pls chk the below sol also
1. Select 'Tools' -> 'Internet Options' -> 'Security' (tab) -> 'Trusted Sites' -> 'Custom Level' (button) -> 'Downloads' from the browser menu.
2. Set 'Automatic prompting for file downloads' to 'Enable'.
3. Save the setting and close the browser window.
4. Start a new browser session and try again.
